Märkus 1 Nimetaja põhinemine biomeetrilise liikmestuse tehingute arvul võib anda tulemuseks suurema väärtuse kui ta põhinemine biomeetriahõivesubjektide arvul.
Märkus 2 Kui liikmestamatustegur peab arvestama ainult neid tehinguid, mille lõpuleviimine nurjus esitatud biomeetriaandmete kvaliteedi tõttu, ei tohiks nimetajas arvestada neid tehinguid, mis nurjusid biomeetriavälistel põhjustel (näiteks polnud nõuetekohased ea või kodakondsuse tõttu).

Note 1. Basing the denominator on the number of biometric enrolment transactions can result in a higher value than basing it on the number of biometric capture subjects.
Note 2. If the FTER is to measure solely transactions that fail to complete due to quality of the submitted biometric data, the denominator should not include transactions that fail due to non-biometric reasons (i.e. lack of eligibility due to age or citizenship).
