smart grid

tark elektrivõrk, tarkvõrk

olemus
ISO/IEC TR 27019:
= electric power system that utilizes information exchange and control technologies, distributed computing and associated sensors and actuators
Note 1. Smart grid technologies are used for purposes such as:
- integrating the behaviour and actions of the network users and other stakeholders;
- efficiently delivering sustainable, economic and secure electricity supplies.

ISO/IEC 15067-3:
= electric energy distribution system using information and communications technology with automation for improving the stability and availability of electricity
Note 1.: Some smart grids integrate into the electric grid excess power generated locally from sun and wind-driven devices.
Note 2 to entry: Technically, a grid is a network. However, in common usage the term "smart grid" refers to the entire energy system, which include generation, transmission, distribution, and customer systems.
